Dress Code: We have been gifted and chosen and placed in front of our congregation as examples, modelers, and leaders of worship. This being true, we should "clothe ourselves with humility toward one another for God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble" (1 Peter 5:5). We should attempt to wear clothing that allows people to focus on God rather than us.

1 Peter 3:1-6...innocent, modest (focus on the heart)
1 Timothy 2:9-10...modest, discreet (godliness).

While remaining relevant to our culture, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Sunday Morning-Conservative, dressy, casual (Preferably dark colors or solids. If using patterns, lighter colors or patterns, use as accents rather than the predominant color).

  • Guys to wear a collared shirt.
  • Ladies are to dress modest in approach to fashion.
