Erik & Becky Lara share their call and vision for their upcoming move to Thailand to fight sex trafficking.

The Impact Christian Church Mission Team and many of our church family members are actively involved in reaching out to the lost in Teller County, across the U.S., and around the world.  Our focus is to use our financial and time resources in the most effective way to reach the most number of individuals with the love of Christ and His Gospel message.

We provide fun, family events to draw those who may have never been to church before, and we reach out to our community by partnering with other faith-based organizations through serving and providing financial support so we can shine the light of Christ to those in need.

To get involved in missions or to learn how to participate in a short-term mission trip, contact the office for more information.

Below is a list of some of the organizations we currently partner with:

              FREE Bibles!

A coupBiblele years ago, the Impact family hung a Bible on every door knob in Woodland Park and some of the surrounding areas. If you need a Bible, stop by and pick up a FREE copy of these handy-sized New Testaments.

“Choices” offers FREE services to support teens and young adults of Teller County as they face life-altering decisions, empowering them to make healthy choices for themselves, their children and their future. To learn more about “Choices”, visit their website at www.whatchoices.com.

“In the Lord’s Service” offers transportation services for those needing rides to doctor’s appointments, treatment, etc. along with many other services for those in need. To learn more about “In the Lord’s Service”, visit their website at www.itls.org.

Little Chapel

Many of Impact’s members volunteer at the Little Chapel Food Pantry to help this great non-profit organization reach out to our community. If you are interested in volunteering, call 719-322-7610 or email littlechapelfoodpantry@outlook.com.  Distribution days and times are the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. If you know someone in need of food, ask them to go to the Pantry during those times.

Other missions we support throughout the state and U.S. include Camp Como, Manhattan Christian College, and Church Planters of the Rockies.

Our Family Team works together with the Mission Team to provide short-term mission trips for those interested.  We have made trips to Mexico, the Navajo Indian Reservation, Joplin, MO, and Denver.  If you are interested in joining us on our next trip, please contact the office to get added to our list.
