Current Bible Studies:

“The Study of Esther”

This is a 9 week study for the Women of Impact.  It begins February 12, 2020.  This study is a Beth Moore study. It will be held at Lawanda Allison’s home on Wednesdays at 1 pm.  Childcare is available.  For details or directions, call Lawanda at 806-240-1378.

Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman by Beth Moore provides a personal study experience five days a week plus viewer guides for the group video sessions of this in-depth women’s Bible study of Esther – a profile in courage. Join Beth in a very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance as she peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives today. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.

“Discerning the Voice of God”

How to recognize when God speaks by Priscilla Shirer. This Bible study will begin January 29th, 2020 and run through March 11th. It will be held at Impact on Wednesdays at 6 pm in Room 124 upstairs.  Facilitator is Heidi Vagts.

Summary:  If hearing God seems challenging, Priscilla Shirer invites you to explore a more intimate relationship with Him, one that can make hearing Him – His will, His heart, and His voice –  your ongoing experience.  Discover how you can listen with greater confidence, clarity, and discernment.  This provides the opportunity to:  More deeply understand the Holy Spirit’s role in your life; Differentiate His voice from imposters’ voices, even from your own; Glimpse His guidance in your everyday life; Grow consistently in obedience, surrender, stillness and humility.
